The Golden Goal
Summary:
A lifelong rivalry takes a dangerous turn when I’m hired as the physical therapist for my childhood nemesis’s hockey team. What starts as teasing quickly crosses into something neither of us is prepared for and once lines are crossed, there’s no going back.
Review:
This is definitely not my usual genre, but I promised myself I’d step outside my thriller comfort zone this year and I’m glad I did. This is a cute, low-stress romance that’s an easy one-day read. The sarcastic, witty banter slowly turns flirty, and while the focus stays on the two main characters, there’s just enough insight into the supporting cast to pull you into the rest of the series.
