Craving Sin
Summary:
Brook agrees to accompany her imprisoned brother to Alaska after he offers to reveal a victim’s burial site. But when a fresh body appears bearing his signature, Brook is forced to confront a terrifying possibility: the killer may not be the one in custody.
Review:
This is easily one of my favorite books in the series. Watching Brook go toe to toe with her brother was intense, and I loved seeing who might finally come out on top. One of the revelations about what he had set in motion for her genuinely surprised me - the level of planning and obsession was unsettling.
That said, I still wish we had more insight into why his fixation on Brook runs so deep. What we’ve been given doesn’t fully explain the extreme lengths he’s gone to. And while the ending didn’t surprise me, it definitely made me wonder how long this storyline will continue to be stretched out.
